Jan 24, 2013 · Months ago when I was using Windows 8 Release Preview, I noticed when trying to change the MIDI mapper, it just says "Warning: MIDI Mapper in Windows 8 is locked on Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth and cannot be changed. It works on Windows XP (SP3) / Vista (SP1) / 7 (SP1) / 8. I tried playing a MIDI file on my PC, and it sucks! I agree, that's why I wrote VirtualMIDISynth!
